About the Author

Media professor Karl Beckstrand is the bestselling and award-winning author/illustrator of 22 multicultural/multilingual books and more than 80 ebook titles (reviews by Publisher's Weekly, Kirkus, School Library Journal, The Horn Book's blog, ForeWord Reviews). Ashley Sanborn is an award-winning artist who also happens to have designed a parade float. She has a B.A. in illustration from Brigham Young University, and her work has appeared on the cover of Leading Edge magazine and BYU's admissions and student services websites.
