About the Author

Like almost one-third of all romance writers, Alyson Chase is a former attorney (okay, maybe a slight exaggeration, but not by much) . She happily ditched those suits and now works in her pajamas writing about men’s briefs instead of legal briefs. When she’s not writing, she’s probably engaged in one of her favorite hobbies: napping, eating, or martial arts (That last one almost makes up for the first two, right?) She also writes humorous, small-town, contemporary romance novels under the name Allyson Charles.

Alyson Chase used their psychological damage to explain why Julius and Amanda found relief in bondage. She made bondage sex healing to the psyches of two people who had benn tortured to their last bit sanity. Their phobias stopped them from any normal life, much less a loving relationship. Neither party was interested in marriage, because they would not be imprisoned again, in any form. This is a story about people who society condemned. It is about a time when women were chattle to be used as their fathers, husbands, and guardians decreed. A woman was expected to marry, and how well she married determined her status. Men were expected to create heirs viable to mainrain the family line and to pay the bills. I found the unconventional life style more interesting because the storyline justified it. I recommend this for mature, openminded adults.

In reading the reviews I have to say, its a good story, and there is some unusual sexual conduct. Heed the warning at the end of the book review if such things bother you. If not, enjoy a new twist.
