This was a good book. Full story. Liked the main characters as well as the story line. Did not like the abrupt ending at all. It was like the author just decided to quit writing and said the end. Would of given 4 stars if it wasnt ended like that.

It turned out to be a pretty good read in the end, but I kept going back and forth with this one. The characters were enjoyable, but I thought the Ice Queens was a laughable and slightly horrifying addition. 4 stars only because it ended up being a decent read. I almost quite reading in the beginning and was reminded why I hate reading books that have a college setting.

I loved this story! It had just the right amount of chemistry and back story. The chemistry betweeb Aubrey and Lucas was sizzling. Great read and page turner. You won't be dissappointed.

Okay,so when I was reading this book I couldnt help but think back to when I was in high school and how some of the things that was going on in this book really happened to me. Because of this I was into this book looking for a happy ever after. Just the idea that someone could write about something that happened to me was really crazy. I cant wait to read more. And I think hockey is my new must watch sport now ;)

This was a nice sweet story. I only wished to have had a peak on how they actually work out that year apart and seeing Lucas actually proposing and they starting their lives together. But other than that.... Great story

Lucas has been the successful Captain and ladies man for the Providence Friars Hockey Team for the past 3 years .On his last year he feels the pressure to get his team to the finals , pass the torch and impress the coaches of the Pro- Hockey teams , but what he didn't factor into the equation is falling hard for his best friend and teammates sexy sister Aubrey. Can Lucas have it all....the girl of his dreams , A stellar career as a Pro- hockey player or is he just trying to impress his father by foreshadowing his brothers broken dreams??? Aubrey is the fierce leader of The Ice Queens , a group of college girls that are devoted to anything and everything the team or it's members may desire , but her brother has made it known that she is the exception to that rule. Working her toes to the bone as a Dance student , trying to impress her over - bearing mother and dance instructor , she begins to realize she's missing out on a lot of normal everyday experiences going after the man she's been salivating over for two years . Her brother's best friend and Captain of the Hockey team ...Lucas. Does Aubrey have a shot in hell at winning the love of a Hockey Champion or will their new found love be shattered by ghosts from the past , controlling parents and conflicting career choices ??? I Loved the start to Ai's new HEA College Hockey Romance Series. I really enjoyed the fact that it is set in providence . Rhode Island (lil' Rhody ) where I was born and raised !! The yearning and loss that both of these characters are feeling , all while they are trying to travel and navigate through their own sets of journeys to get through the most hectic and revealing times of their lives is sometimes heartbreaking to read . The whole story just felt do Real to life !! I loved the way the author built up Lucas and Aubrey's relationship , she made you almost burst with anticipation as to where , when and if this couple was going to fully commit to each other .The scenes between them were intense and steamy with some sarcastic wit thrown into the mix , which I enjoyed . I also loved getting to know the other guys on the hockey team , because this is a series and sooner or later we will all get to know them one by one in their own books. I just wish that there were more Hockey Fights and game scenes, but you never know , that may very well be what Ali has up her sleeve for the upcoming books in this series....I can't wait !!

I absolutely loved this book! Lucas is hot, smart, captain of the hockey team, and my new book boyfriend! Aubrey is beautiful, strong, independent, and a ballerina/dancer. They've been fighting their attraction to each other for many years now, but with graduation for Lucas coming up in a few months...time is running out. Will one of them get the courage to say how they feel and see where it goes? This is a standalone, but it's a series which will have some characters popping in. I'm so impressed with the author's, Ali Parker, attention to detail! I have danced growing up and her description of Aubrey's pain, feet, etc... well, if you have ever experienced it as a dancer, you will know what I mean! This is an emotional and amazing book!
