Joe Dispenza, D.C., the author of Evolve Your Brain, studied biochemistry at Rutgers University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in neuroscience, and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University in Atlanta, Georgia. I'm actually writing a book long postponed about all the amazing & unbelievable :) and not so amazing things I've recently experienced as well throughout my life, and I've always wondered what was happening inside the body and mind when painful situations occurred because my strength and will to overcome everything situation always surprised me... how does intuition work and some other questions related to where do we come from, why do we engage into all those daily & constant repetitive thoughts and behaviors that sometimes leads you to nowhere, etc... I've searched everywhere to find and answer, a tangible -earthly- non-spiritual answer... (I was so tired of all that) so one thing took me to another until I discovered various videos of Dr. Joe Dispenza... so I've immediately bought the book... I was amazed and really excited to find out more... next step the universe granted me with the opportunity to go to a workshop 15 mins. from where I live -Perfect timing- that I'm still in an great state of being and obviously feeling grateful for the experienced I had at the event; the next day after the workshop the universe sent me my first surprise to something I wanted to accomplish... So if you want to break the habit of being yourself get this book right away and find out how we human beings really function...

Dr. Joe Dispenza's explanation of how our brains work will help you understand in a scientific way why your thoughts create who you are. I have read other explanations, but this is not "new age-y"--this is a pragmatic book. After reading, I purchased the guided meditations and took a workshop. We are not doomed by our genes--we can do something about it!
