About the Author

Erica's writing journey began in 5th grade when she wrote and illustrated her first book, Running Rain. Thirteen years later, she became a Wattpad Creator for the online storytelling platform, and in 2020, Breeder won a Watty Award and garnered over 650,000 reads. In 2022, Erica was invited to speak on a worldbuilding panel at WattCon (LA).

As a part-time author, she mainly operates in the fantasy, sci-fi, and adventure genres (but never omits a slow-burning romantic subplot). She aims to write inclusively, diversely, and boldly enough that someday, bigoted white men will collectively label her a "Nasty Woman."

When she's not developing fantasy worlds, Erica works diligently to green the business sector in her home state, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and improve environmental education. She also enjoys a semiannual chaotic road trip with her partner, Petr.
