About the Author

Brian McDermott is an award-winning chef and food consultant who is passionate about sharing his love of food with others. As a host, presenter and demonstrator, he is one of the most sought-after chefs on the Irish food-festival circuit. He is the chef-proprietor of the Foyle Hotel by Chef Brian McDermott in Moville, County Donegal, which is also home to his cookery school. He is the author of the successful cookery book Reunite with Food and a regular on RTÉ and BBC television and radio, and in the local and national press. He lives in Moville with his wife, Brenda, and daughters Niamh and Aoife.

Neven Maguire is Ireland’s favorite chef. He has sold over 100,000 cookbooks in Ireland, among them The Nation’s Favourite Food Fast! which won an Irish Book Award and Neven Maguire’s Baby and Toddler Cookbook, which won the Maternity and Infant Best Family Cookbook award. A regular on RTÉ television, he lives in Blacklion, Co. Cavan with his family, where he runs the perennially popular MacNean House and Restaurant and his Cookery School.
