K. M. Shrivastava is a professor at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication. He is a former head of the department of journalism and mass communication at Punjabi University, visiting scholar at University of Canberra, and visiting fellow at Nagpur University. He is a member of the International Council of the International Association of Media and Communication Research.
