*Celeste Charlet is the pen name for the author of this story. She is a talented artist and writer. She has other published works under her true identity including two romance/love story novels. She is a devout Christian mother and grandmother. This book is the true story of her journey and survival through domestic abuse/violence. It is her wish that this book, although difficult to write, will be instrumental and educational to women suffering from abuse and help them to learn how to survive and escape destructive relationships and move on to a happier and more productive life. She uses the first hand experiences and mistakes made in her own life to promote awareness of the signs of domestic abuse and offer hope for a better future. Though the road she walked was difficult and could have ended in her death, she was able to escape with God's help through faith and the support of several dear friends in her life.
