About the Author

Chuck Solomon owns and operates a successful home improvement business serving the Triangle area (Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill) of North Carolina (see www.carolinahandyman.com). Mr. Solomon has been a handyman most of his life, starting at an early age by helping his dad and uncles with home projects. Even as he went to college and graduate school, and worked in the fields of non-profit management, consulting, information technology, and human resources, he continued to perform handyman/home improvement projects for himself and others. This guide is the result of his experience spending many hours starting and growing his own home improvement business. When not fixing things, Mr. Solomon enjoys hiking, kayaking, cooking, traveling and spending time with his family.
