Financially, the stress was causing anxiety attacks andmigraines so severe I stayed in bed. The joy I feel now ispriceless. Money is there when I need it, in the amount that'sneeded, no matter what occurs (car repairs, unplanned trips, etc.).It's absolutely amazing!"

This book has changed my life. Its not just about money but everything in life. I have been reading self-help and spiritual books for over 35 years and after reading Busting Loose... I knew I could get rid of my years of accumulation of books. This book is all I need ! What a gift it is !!

My wife and I are bookaholics -- I have become so jadded with the poor quality of the Business related and self help sections (one exception, for example, is 'Good To Great' -- wonderful work) -- I have a habit now of skiming and taking notes on the primary points made by various authors. I started this process with the Busting Loose book. As I started taking notes -- the information, content struck me as very practical and uniquely ties different outlooks together -- my interest kept growing. I decided to buy the book as the focus on, from my point of view, an Eastern perspective combined with a process very similar to Gestalt Therapy and how to actually apply his concepts fascinates me. The basis in quantum mechanics is an interest -- and I found his application to be more 'real' than others. (I won't go into that here -- too long). If this book was just about money -- I would lose interest. This approach is quite novel and from my perspective outshines most if not all other books on the market. I do not think it is for everyone, and I would recommend perusing it before purchase to see if his approach fits for you. I believe different personality types, and/or values & interests impact how one approach will work with one person and not another. Most of the self help books I have read (hundreds) and evaluated I experience as fairly vapid and useless in practical application -- repetition of similar styles. One reader has stated the basis is Eastern religion, specifically Indian -- yes -- that appears to be a basic philosophy. The approach offered is superb. I have not seen this effective of a blend of the practical with eastern influence with gestalt therapy like application in any other work. Oh! The issue of 'ego' -- I think that could have been more clearly stated. I see the explanation as IDing oneself more to the Self or Consciousness or God as the force so to speak versus the smaller 'I' of our everyday lives. This later issue is covered so well in Eastern works. Overall -- an outstanding contribution that fills a void in this field.

This book was really neat. Not what I expected from a money book, especially not a bestselling one. It is very interesting in its emphasis on changing your whole view of yourself and the world, in order to jump to a new and better place with money, or anything really. It is well written with a lot of examples and takes you through the process step by step. Great!

Like many self-help books which is what this basically is, the book spends a lot of time telling you how reading it is going to change your life and less time on what you need to do to change your life. Some of the ideas are way out there from my viewpoint. It will definitely stretch your boundaries and make you think.

I keep going back to this book. You know how sometimes you just "know" there's something not quite right with someone? Barbara Oakley has lined up those little tidbits that make us wonder and produced a remarkable book. I look at people a little differently now...especially politicians.
