This way a fun little mystery. I wanted to read the next book but nook doesnt have it yet. Since there is no sex in this, i would recommed it for 12+.
Butterfly Boy is about Janet and her rescue dog, Chevy. They find a body when they were out on a walk that was made to appear that she was the murderer. She tries to figure out who the real killer was in order to clear her name. While she is doing this, the body count rises. This is a very quick cozy mystery that is easy to finish in an hour or so. I had hoped Chevy would have played a bigger part in the story and demonstrate his rescue abilities. What we saw of him was his playfulness but no rescue skills.
50 page short story. Murder mystery. First person. Free. Clean and very simple. Fun and rather silly. Writing is rather juvenile, but this a cute story anyway. The closer the author got to the conclusion, the worse the editing became. This book's mystery was solved, but the end opened up another one. A fast read. Not chick lit. Ages 16 and up. I would read another book by this author if it were free. I would be afraid to purchase in case it was another short story. AD
