Thomas Sabel was raised on a chicken farm near Grovertown, Indiana, served in the U.S. Army, has tended bar, performed Shakespeare, done carpentry, retired from the Lutheran ministry, and currently teaches college in Fort Wayne, Indiana where he lives with his wife of 30 years, Judith.
