Overview

Troy Broadspeare's life is in shambles. His girlfriend abandoned him. His fellow professors think he's either a fraud or a fool for listening to the language of rocks. Thomas Sabel was raised on a chicken farm near Grovertown, Indiana, served in the U.S. Army, has tended bar, performed Shakespeare, done carpentry, retired from the Lutheran ministry, and currently teaches college in Fort Wayne, Indiana where he lives with his wife of 30 years, Judith.
