Although, not as much action as the 1st Cameron Jack book CAMERON JACK AND THE KEY TO THE UNIVERSE, This was full of comedy/action. Again it has some scary moments. It continues right after the last book. It is easy reading and this time explains more. Kids will love this follow on book and adults alike. It is new and original like the 1st book was. This time Cameron, his sister Jess and mate Barry travel back in time to 1944 where they meet orphaned children. However, there are ghosts that take an interest in the hero Cameron, German soldiers invade a small town and hold everybody hostage along with Jess and Barry, so Cameron with the help of the ghosts help the towns people and saves the day again. It contains Dinasours and spaceships and the Queen witch from the 1st book briefly returns. If you loved Cameron jack 1, you will equally love this. Roll on book 3.
