When the morning show at radio station CRCK goes dead silent, thirteen-year-old Theo Tanner knows something is seriously wrong. The popular DJ who usually fills Lakeside, Ontario with rock music and the occasional joke, Sadie Skeleton, has vanished without a trace, leaving behind an empty studio and a bunch of unanswered questions.
Determined to crack the case, Theo and his friends launch their own investigation into the mysterious disappearance. But as they dig deeper, they discover that the missing DJ might be connected to something much bigger. Seems Sadie did a disappearing act at her last radio station gig, and the station manager was not amused. Neither were the police.
