About the Author

The author is a retired US Marine Corps officer who holds a doctoral degree in History. He has previously published both a war memoir and a fiction, set in 10th century Iberia. He has written for the Army's Combat Studies Institute, and several journals, and taught at colleges. He is now retired and living in Overland Park, Kansas.
