About the Author
Celenic Earth Publications is a South African publishing house assisting authors getting published locally and internationally in ebook and paperback format. It was created by author Shaun M Jooste when he realised how many writers struggle to get their work published, in a process that is deceptively easily. The publishing house empowers authors to learn the process while publishing their work with the hope that they will one day be able to publish themselves through self-sustainability.
Shaun has published the epic fantasy series: The Celenic Earth Chronicles, which has battle and magic themes similar to Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and the Riftwar Saga. He has also published his debut horror novel, ‘Silent Hill: Betrayal’, set within the popular horror franchise but based on an original tale. He is currently working on another fantasy series, a new horror series, and a crime novel. As a member of the Writer’s Guild of South Africa, Shaun also writes screenplays for assignments and personal projects. His latest work is the sci-fi screenplay “The Space Drifter”, which was submitted to and recommended by the Cinequest Screenwriting Festival. Shaun is also the Editor-in-chief of the recently established Global Council of Extraordinary Writers (https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/181885-global-council-of-extraordinary-writers) which is a platform for writers around the world to connect, share experiences and assist each other with marketing and promotions. Finally, Shaun is the Editor of the Celenic Earth Newsletter, a paper established to inform readers and followers on updates, writing genres, author interviews and anything else linked to writing.
Dean is a freelance writer who has experience with Gametyrant doing game news articles, as well as with other games such as: Antreya Chronicles, Hegis' Grasp and Neubilor. He is also a featured author in the Celenic Earth Anthology series: CEA Through the Dark, CEA Into the Beyond, and CEA Past your Reality. Writing had always been his muse and he plans to bring more stories to life.
Born in Cape Town, South Africa, Wesley can be found in the bastion of knowledge that is a library, where he happily works for his bread and butter, though he will deny that he is doing a job. When he is not pretending to "not work", he can be found at home, where he can safely remove his adult disguise and geek out on anime, books, and writing what he likes. You may on occasion find him at comic conventions dressed as a Pokemon, or in a bookshop with a panicked look on his face because he can't choose which book to buy. Wesley has also written a short story called fatal performance which can be found in the anthology CEA Writers without Boundaries, found here https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/719911. If you need to drop him a line, don't do it at email@example.com. Just kidding! Please do.
Jay Girgis Was born in North Wales to Coptic Egyptian convert to presbyterianism who fled Muslim prejudice and Jamaican Mother whom fled to escape hatred being generated from a democratic socialist leader in power at the time. When he was 7 due to his father's Job Jay's family migrated to Trinidad & Tobago. However, Trinidad's hot climate was too much for his mother to handle. She would get horribly sick due to the heat. So when Jay was 9 his family moved once again, this time back to Jamaica since it had been circa 20 years since the politician who chased her out of Jamaica had been in power and Jay had family living in a colder part of Jamaica called Mandeville at the time which is where he currently lives. In Jay's Teens when all of the other teens were becoming obsessed with sexual activities, drugs, and video games Jay was developing a fondness for fiction, Martial arts, entertaining people, and history. This would be when the works of certain writers that influenced the Berberian would come into play, these writers are: Masashi Kishimoto, Nobuhiro Watsuki, Atsushi Okubo & Robert Spencer.
Despite the misgivings of her 5th grade self, MK Clark has spent the better part of a decade with her nose buried in a notebook, scratching out dreams on a page. In this time, she has authored multiple children’s plays for community theatre groups, completed an undergraduate thesis, and received an Honor’s B.A in English and Literature from the University of Texas at Arlington. MK Clark currently lives in Austin Texas with her husband and her two fur-babies and works full-time as a technical writer.
