This treatise presents a method that minimizes the effects of personal preconceptions without inhibiting individual insight. The method is easily applicable and flexible enough for use over a broad range of subjects, and sufficiently powerful to enable scholars to avoid their own biases and commentators to recognize subtle bias in works being evaluated. It is based on the fundamental and universal phenomena of Chaos and Order, the origins of which go back to the beginning of time. The two elements are defined for the purposes of the treatise in a brief review of cosmology and then related to human nature and the development of the brain. Examples of the use of the method for various institutions of civilization are subsequently presented to illustrate its practical value.
