About the Author

Jay has been writing since grade school and has won awards for his originality and personal touch. He received his first recognition/award for writing an essay to accompany a drawing that he created and presented to his elementary school in Miami, Florida, as an entry into a contest to select his school's new mascot. His drawing was not selected but to his surprise his essay won first place! Since then he has been hooked on the innate power of the written word.
