Two years ago, when we published Pranab Raha's collection of essays `Akopat', we promised the readers that we will bring more of his works in the future. Hence, we are pleased to bring you his second published audiobook `Charminar'.
`Charminar' is a collection of four short and long stories by the author that are basically satirical in nature.
In this book, he has brought out the subtle aspects of human character in a humorous approach. Like all his writings, these stories too, have an unspoken hidden message, that a sophisticated reader would have no difficulty in grasping.
We hope that `Charminar', like the author's first book `Akopat' published by us will be well received by the readers.
Author's Note:
The intersection of time and technology has brought about some changes in the way people consume literature. Recognizing this change, I have published an audiobook of four stories, embracing this transformation.
However, for enthusiastic readers, the printed hard copy of the book will also be made available very soon.
Since the four stories are narrated by four different narrators in distinct styles, the stories do not possess the same qualities in all aspects.
Nevertheless, if the stories provide an enjoyable listening experience, then the efforts and contributions of those involved in this endeavour, although somewhat limited, will be worthwhile.
