About the Author

Robert Weisskopf retired from the Chicago Police department in 2012 after thirty years of service. As a single father, he was convinced, by friends, to put together a cookbook of his recipes and cooking experiences. That resulted in his book DINING - Not Just Eating. Realizing he enjoyed writing he continued and the Journey of the Freighter Lola series was born.
Drawing from his experiences as a police officer and molding his characters after real life characters he worked with, he developed this science fiction series. Now four books long the series will continue and the author is already working on the next novel in the series.
