About the Author

Asa Rubin grew up reading classic adventure authors like Jules Verne, sci-fi/action novelists like Clive Cussler, and more literary story-tellers like Richard Russo. As he started to write himself, he discovered that he enjoyed combining all of his favorite genres together, so that his stories often had plenty of action, extensive sci-fi, and a healthy dose of psychological or philosophical musings to go along with them.

In between writing, he has received degrees in physics, aerospace engineering, and medicine, practiced as a physician, and even done some work for the government. These experiences he’s sunken back into his stories to make them more realistic. He has also climbed a few mountains, gotten hardcore into ultralight backpacking, and most importantly, married his beautiful wife. They currently live in Florida with their cat, Mulder.

If you’d like to reach him, please email him at nephillim.. And if you're into hiking, maybe he’ll see you out there on the trail.
