In short,Chocolate and Cheese is as incredible as Ween is. This album has everything a listener could want: songs to boogie-ooogie ooogie to (Voodoo Lady), songs to chill to (Freedom of 76 and Joppa Road), songs to blast when you are cruising with your friends (I Can't Put My Finger on It), songs to laugh with ( Buenos Tardes Amigo), and songs to stir up one's emotional side (What Deaner Was Talkin About). All in all well-rounded enjoyable album.

OK 1st off Ween= pure genius. Been listening to em since I was like 10 (no joke --big sis got me into em with pure guava) so I’ll try to keep the gushing to a minimum. In short, this is one of my all time favourite records –it’s right up there with Raw Power and Velvet Underground (which for me is tops). These guys deserve all the props they can get their dirty little digits on--so believe all you've heard about them (the good stuff anyway). Their lyrical skill is well hard to describe really let me do them no injustice and just say they sure do write purty. Their music itself is even harder to describe, but let’s give it a whirl how about: their music is like visiting your schizophrenic grandpappy –while he’s on crack and giving away his lifetime supply of cherry popsicles. Yeah that works. If you’re thinking about buying this record, take my advice bite the bullet pay the $15 or whatever–it’s a deal it’s a steal it’s sale of the F’ing century. I just wish they’d play more shows in their hometown.
