About the Author

A Florida resident since 1972, I have always been fascinated by the mystery of the origins of Central Florida. Pieces of history have been preserved, but yet there seems to be more mystery than history about this region's past.
Retirement allowed me time to research, as well as to fulfill a life-long desire to write. I love American history, particularly 19th Century, and challenge myself, as a writer, to not merely tell of people or events, but to expose as well the mindset of those individuals, the bravest of the brave, so we can better understand why each event occurred.
Since release of my first book in 2013, I have published 5 books - each on the subject of 19th Century Central Florida.
