Claire

CLAIRE ( The featured character)

A primitive tribe (1000 years old, from Spain) settled in northern Scotland. In their settlement, called Wotan, after the old tribe, they lived a humble farming life.

All was as it always was until the end of the Second World War. Then life changed. Once the bureaucrats 'discovered' Wotan, taxes and charges entered their life, and bureaucrats established Government Departments.

An ancient tribe lived by tribal rules, yet this tribe was expected to follow modern Scottish laws.

This is the Wotans' and Claire's paradox, leading to their sorrows and legal shenanigans.
