I just read this book yesterday (in a matter of hours) and I have to say that it was excellently written. I love how the Erin Hunters explained everything in the warrior code with relative and believable stories. I liked the parts where different cats would speak about the code (like Whitestorm with addressing tresspassers- that part was FUNNY) and the excerpts that featured the consequences of breaking that certain petition in the warrior code. The illustrations found throughout the book were superb, as well. I LOVED many of the names that the Erin Hunters came up with for the characters in this book, like Sunfall (who, by the way, was the leader when Bluestar was deputy, as you probably know) and Morningcloud and Oakleaf. Moving on, I found the passage featuring Darkstripe and Longtail was beautiful insight on their characters, which I had overlooked for Darkstripe. It showed much of their true character that can be fairly easy to not think about without reminders such as this. The Code of the Clans, and all Warriors books for that matter, are excellently written, and I think I like this book and Cats of the Clans as my favourites, just because of that wonderful insight that the Erin Hunters bring you, and the way they make you think of things from a whole different aspect. In addition they bring in so much feeling and emotion from the charaters that you feel you are the character being featured. For example, the passage with Slatefang and Badgerpaw made me SOB when I read it. It was such a depressing scene, and I think only the Erin Hunters could write it in such a way that their readers are in tears after finishing it. Or maybe it's just me. But in any case, I think this book is a wonderful look into the warrior code, mentioned so many times in books but never fully explained. The writers did a superb job writing it, and I'm very glad indeed that they did a book like this. I encourage anyone to pick up the Warriors series and just read it. You've got nothing to lose.

I got this book about a week and half ago, and I loved it when I read it. It really gives that extra insight about the warrior code that we all hear so much about in the actually series. Also, it gives a little more information about ThunderClan cats relationships that we didn't know before. If you haven't read this book yet, you really should. The illustrations are wonderful, and once you start reading, you can't put the book down.

This book is excellent. I love how Erin Hunter does scenes where it brings the cats and their personality to life. It is a totoally creative story about how all the rules in the warrior code were thought out. The names like Quickpaw, Oakleaf, Sunfall, and others were very well made and cute. It inspires me when the cats stand up for what is right, and they make it into the warrior code. I remember when I was reading the first book when Brokenstar made kits at only three moons (months) old. It had a story about that when a young kit from ShadowClan was forced into apprtentice ship and was killed by a WindClan warrior when Brokenstar tried to drive WindClan out. It really touches me when the kit called Badgerpaw was saying his last few words to his mentor, Flintfang. He told his mentor that when he was a warrior in StarClan, he wanted to be called Badgerfang like his mentor. I nearly cried when I read that part and when Badgerpaw dies and goes to Starclan. Then there was another story when this queen stood up for her kit so he wouldn't have to fight a pointless battle. Because of her bravery, there will be fiew deaths. It helps show people that you are wonderful the way you are, and its OK to stand up for the people you love. I highly reccomend this book. Read this, and you'll never look at your plain old tabby again. -Bridget

I loved this book! Leafpool ( ThunderClans medicine cat) takes you through all the different laws or codes and tells of the stories of how the codes came to be part of the warrior code. Leafpool also tells of some of the rules that didn't make it into the warrior code also. I hope you will enjoy this book as much as I did and find out the secerts of the code. "Hush, little one." A pretty silver tabby soothes. "I am Rosestar, the leader of BlossomClan" she wrapped her tail around the kit. "Go to blooming result one to join" Rosestar smiled at Mistkit.

I love this book so far i am only on page 56 and i am in love with the book but the saddest part is when Flitfang, badgerpaw and all of the cats in shadow clan and windclan were fighting and Broken star (the ruthless leader i know u heard of him) so like i was saying broken star didnt fallow the worroir code: a kit must be 6 moons old to be an apprentice so shadow clan was in a battle with windclan and badgerpaw was only 3 moons old and he was battling and he was dieing and badger paw was asking his mentor flit fang if broken star and his mother were going to be proud of him then flit fang said yes then he asked if star clan was going to make him a warroir the flit fang said yes then badgerpaw asked what his name would be then flit fang said u can choose and badger paw said i want my name to be badger fang because u were an awesome mentor the right after he said that he went to star clan :( :( i know that its not that sad when i say it but its alot sadder if u get the baicly this book is about all 12 of the codes and the time that it was made and sometimes it gives u something when u dont follow that code like when long tail and dark stripe went hunting and poppy frost was in the medicene cat den and she was dieing frome green cough i believe and she needed food and all the prey in the fresh kill pile got ruined because of the rain and so dark stripe caught a big FAT juicy squirl and then he ate it with long tail then when they got back (they only caught 2 mice and a black bird after that) so when dark stripe and long tail got back poppy frost was dead.. another example is when one eye and dappel tail tresspased to river clans teritory to see what fish tasted like then when one eye was trying to catch a fish and she fell in the water then pine star found out and hail star saved her so there punishment was eating the fish and it was yucky :P so thank u for reading this long and detailed reveiw May star clan light ur path -Fire stripe (do u like the new name i made it up) aka the originail warroir girl (do u also like the new ending??? It is "may star clan light ur path" ;) bye!!!!!!!!! ;D

I am scared and all alone. My home is a scraggly tree. My food is skinny mice. My thirst is beyond imagine. I need a home. A queen. Decent food. Shelter. Love. Can you bring me the things my heart oh so desires? The thing i have yearned for since the time i opened my eyes? My only hope an only dream? My only wish in life or death? Will you step up and help a poor helpless, homeless kit? Having these things mean the world to me. I'd give anything for them. My tree, my mice, even my life. Please, reach out and help a hopeless kit. Reach out and help me.
