About the Author

For 60 years Dr. Jane Anderson has shared her passion for children's reading and language development with teacher education candidates, parents, and colleagues in education and medicine. Her publications range from a kindergarten screening test for identification of at-risk children before they fail to investigations of the neurophysiology of dyslexia in school children. And always, her research and clinical focus has been on identification of strategies for preventing and remediating reading failure for students with phonological deficits.
