About the Author

Bob Halloran is a Boston-based award winning journalist, accomplished author, movie consultant and sports writer. Currently the sports anchor and weekend news anchor for Boston’s ABC affiliate, WCVB, his broadcast career has included roles at ESPN, WFXT in Boston, and WPRI in Providence, RI. At ESPN, Bob spent three years as an anchor and writer for ESPN.com. Halloran has written several books including Irish Thunder: The Hard Life and Times of Micky Ward; and Impact Statement: A Family's Fight for Justice Against Whitey Bulger, Stephen Flemmi and the FBI. Halloran has won a New England Emmy Award for sportscasting, and two honors from the Associated Press. He lives in the Boston area.
