About the Author

Nevada McPherson lives in Milledgeville, Georgia, where she enjoys going for walks, taking pictures, and painting when she isn't keeping her husband Bill and Chihuahua Mitzi out of trouble. A graduate of LSU's MFA Creative Writing Program, McPherson has written several award-winning screenplays, nonfiction pieces, and graphic novels. The latter includes Uptowners, a noir family drama set in New Orleans, its London-based sequel, Queensgate, and Piano Lessons, which is a gay teen romance set in the 1950s rural south. Poser was her debut novel. She also writes on film, books, and pop culture at the Backstage Blog on her website: www.nevada-mcpherson.com

Cody Sexton is the managing editor for A Thin Slice of Anxiety and founder of Anxiety Press.

Paige Johnson is editor in chief at Outcast Press, specializing in transgressive fiction and dirty realism. She put together and featured in the short story collections Slut Vomit: An Anthology of Sex Work and In Filth It Shall Be Found. She's working on her third novel, Where Me & The Vultures Live, about a lonely Miami cam-girl who lives out of a motel. The first chapter of such appears in Anxious Nothings (Anxiety Press, 2022) alongside many illustrated, ironically erotic stories and essays. Her first poetry novella is called Percocet Summer, the first in a four-part series called Seasonal Dissociation: Poetry for Distancing Dates & Doses.
