Overview

This novella contains several poems and short stories written over several years. Three of the poems are dedicated to late relatives. In a way, these poems are a way for me to say something final to those who passed. All of these poems were written from the love and admiration I have for them. The main piece of this book is CRASHING WAVES, which is a thriller told through the perspective of a person waking up on an island with severe dementia. As the days pass, the person is put to the test of surviving the harsh conditions of a deserted island. Unfortunately, the situation gets worse with the sudden discovery that person isn't alone...

About the Author

TIM MICHAEL HELLABY II, a Myrtle Beach, South Carolina native, graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a Bachelor’s in History (2018) and a Master’s in Education in Social Studies (2019). While studying U.S. and regional history, Hellaby II always had a passion for film. Most notably, fiction, horror, and documentary. His father, whom he was named after, worked with Encore Video Production Inc. for years. His father brought home stories of behind-the-scenes of classic movies like King Kong Lives, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie, Patriot, and much more. Hellaby II currently substitutes for his local school district, while working in the hospitality industry for over a decade.
