A sexy, small town, opposites attract rom com!

He wears suits and ties. He'll one day inherit a fortune. He has a law degree. He shines his shoes, for God's sake. What is she doing attracted to a guy like him? But she is. She so is.

She drives air boats on the bayou, drinks and cusses, and gives city boys in suits a hard time just for fun. Why can't he get her out of his mind? But he can't. He definitely can't.

A weekend trip to Savannah for a fancy-schmancy party with his highfalutin family is the surefire way to prove that they have nothing in common but intense chemistry. And to maybe scratch this I've-never-wanted-anyone-like-I-want-you itch once or twice. Or five times.

But it takes only about twenty-four hours for the bayou girl and the city boy to figure out that they don't really know much at all--about each other, or about themselves. And figuring all of this out is going to be downright crazy.

Crazy Rich Cajuns is my favorite in the series! Anyone that's followed along the Landry family journey has been introduced to Kennedy, and I've been dying for her story. I enjoy when you go into a book thinking you know the character pretty well, only for the author to draw you in even more and open your mind to an even deeper development, making you fall harder for their story. If you're looking for a funny, light-hearted, crazy families, sassy and steamy romance - then this is the book you'll enjoy over and over again.

I've truly enjoyed reading Erin Nicholas' Boys of the Bayou. Each book has its own story that keeps your attention while referring back to the other characters from each book. Some series get stale after awhile with subsequent books. Erin Nicholas keeps it fresh.

I couldn't wait for it to come out, and couldn't put it down, but also didn't want it to end! Love all of Erin's books!!

I thought that this was simply terrific romance. The fun storyline captures your full attention and does not let go until the last page is read. There are plenty of sparks and clever banter as Kennedy and Bennett's long simmering attraction (This is a standalone read but these two make appearances in the three previous books of the series) finally reaches the boiling point. There is lots of humor and tugged on heartstrings as these two struggle with their confusion and emotions as they try to reconcile what their heads tell them they should want with what their hearts actually yearn for. Kennedy, with her goth style, fierceness, sassy attitude and backbone of steel was someone I'd love to be friends with an just hang out. As for Bennett, I though he was one silver-tongued, hot nerd with a beautiful heart. As a couple these two were sizzling, sweet and completely swoon worthy! If you are looking for a great romantic read that can deliver steam, heart and a excellent storyline, you can't go wrong with this book an in fact this whole series.

CRAZY RICH CAJUNS is the much-anticipated fourth book in the Boys of the Bayou series by Erin Nicholas and it is delightfully laugh out loud funny and chock full of smart-mouthed, dirty-talking goodness! Bayou Princess Kennedy has met her match in nerdy Bennett and the chemistry is explosive. I loved everything there is to love about this book! Kennedy has been a hoot throughout this entire series and even more so in her own story. She gives as good as she gets and she never strays from speaking her mind. Watching her go head to head with her match is pure rom-com gold. Bennett has been intriguing since he swooped in and invested in the business, and the fact that he's taken with Kennedy even though she's a pain to him in every way is so delicious. When he swoops in to whisk her away for a weekend at his ritzy family's house in Savannah, we know things are about to get down and dirty. I highly recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who loves hilarious moments intermixed with smoking hot connections between alpha males and their equally qualified women. You can't go wrong with any book you pick up in the series, they are all great!

Kennedy and Bennett’s love story in Crazy Rich Cajuns by Erin Nicholas, book four in her Boys of the Bayou series, was amazing as they were perfect for each other. Ms. Nicholas’ books are a must read for me as they grab me and don’t let go from the moment I open the book and read page one. Kennedy and Bennett appear to be opposites but they are so much more similar than I expected. The direction this story took was perfect despite not being what I expected. Kennedy was such a surprise, although knowing that she used to compete on the pageant circuit I shouldn’t have been that shocked at her decisions for her future. Plus, Bennett was more than just a rich, hot, man, attracted to Kennedy. Throw in his crazy family and their friends and you have an amazing story. Ms. Nicholas wrote a wonderful, humorous, challenging, and sexy story that is not to be missed. This tale is filled with sexual chemistry, fun dialogue, and endearing characters. This book contains a cast of characters one would only find in an Erin Nicholas story. I am so glad Kennedy and Bennett found the courage to be true to who they really are as well as to take a chance at love and a forever together. I highly recommend Crazy Rich Cajuns to other reader and cannot wait for the next book in the series. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Crazy Rich Cajuns by Erin Nicholas is the fourth book in her fabulous Boys of the Bayou series. This is the standalone romantic tale of Kennedy Landry, the Landry sister that runs them all and keeps them straight, and Bennet Baxter, the rich business mogul/lawyer/environmentalist that is now part owner in Boys of the Bayou airboat tours. The constant back and forth bickering between them has been evident in the previous books. Always sharp tongued with a hint of flirtation. Each one antagonising the other just so they'd have an excuse to interact more. When Bennet takes Kennedy with him to his parents home in Georgia for his father's retirement party it clearly moves their flirtation into potential relationship and it is HOT! The emotional issues each of them has and works through in this short trip is astounding and the heat of their romance is off the charts while the charm of their families and futures and bonding is consistent with the rest of the series and is absolutely heart-warming. Definitely a must-read author for me at this point - this book was awesome! Enjoy!

Kennedy and Bennett had fantastic chemistry that burned right off the pages. I thoroughly enjoyed watching them go head to head in this enemies to lovers romance. Bennett Baxter is in love with everything Bayou. That includes the swampy water, the alligators, the sticky hot weather, and especially Kennedy Landry. From the moment he laid eyes on the sassy, dressed all in black, says exactly what's on her mind woman, he is hooked. He is so sure she is the one for him, even though most of their conversations are over the phone and mostly antagonistic in nature, something in his gut says she is "the one". He invites, or more like insists, she comes along for a weekend at his parents home in Savannah, GA so #1; they could meet her, and #2; so he could get some one on one time with her, and #3; so his parents could see that his time spent in Louisiana isn't just play time, he means business. What he doesn't account for is for his sassy, brazen woman to stir up feelings he wasn't prepared to feel. Kennedy Landry is a self assured, confident, sassy woman surrounded by more manly men than she can shake a stick at. She has always assumed her preference in male companionship is a man who could change a tire, fix an engine, and still come home to please her at night. But the moment Bennett Baxter walked into her life he threw those expectations right out the window and her life into a tailspin. She now doesn't know left from right and she isn't entirely sure how to feel about it. With Bennett's shiny shoes, nerdy glasses, and power ties she can't help her attraction to the man who also gets her back hairs up. She shouldn't want to like him as much as she does, so she decides to go with him to Georgia to finally get the man out of her system. A weekend away in his world should do the trick, she just didn't account for enjoying it as much as she does. Bennett and Kennedy seem like polar opposites, but they are also very similar. It isn't until they are tucked away in another state away from the hustle and familiar that they really find each other and learn how they fit together. Crazy Rich Cajuns is a warm, enlightening, and full of heat addition to the Boys of Bayou series. I love the close family and togetherness that these stories bring, along with having a passion for what you believe in. It really shines through in this book and Kennedy is the perfect person to bring that passion for the bayou spirit forth. If you haven't started the series yet what are you waiting for, you will love them all!!

CRAZY RICH CAJUNS is the fourth instalment in Erin Nicholas’ contemporary, adult BOYS OF THE BAYOU erotic, romance series focusing on the Landry family. This is cook and bartender Kennedy Landry, and attorney/co-owner of Boys of the Bayou Bennett Baxter’s story line. CRAZY RICH CAJUNS can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. Told from dual third person perspectives (Kennedy and Bennett) CRAZY RICH CAJUNS follows the building relationship and romance between cook and bartender Kennedy Landry, and attorney/co-owner of Boys of the Bayou Bennett Baxter. As part owner of the Boys of the Bayou Swamp tours, Bennett Baxter finds himself attracted to over the top Kennedy Landry, the company’s PA and go-to person. His father’s upcoming retirement from political life means Bennett has the opportunity to show-off the woman that calls to his heart, a woman that screams all kinds of wrong for the power elite. What ensues is Kennedy and Bennett’s building relationship, and the potential fall-out as Kennedy becomes a pawn between Bennett, and the political aspirations of a powerful family. Bennett Baxter has no desire to enter into politics although he has been groomed from an early age. An environmentalist at heart, Bennett is driven to save the Louisiana coast line, and in doing so goes up against the people in power. Kennedy Landry has never wanted much beyond her family and friends but coming face to face with the whose who of government, our heroine discovers there is more to life than serving drinks and eating Creole. The relationship between Kennedy and Bennett has been slowly burnings since Bennett’s investment in Boys of the Bayou. There is definite palpable sexual attraction, an attraction that pulls at our couple with every encounter. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text. Grandma Ellie and Grandpa Leo return as Kennedy’s mentors and family, as well as several of Kennedy’s brother-there is some fantastic fun and protectiveness between the Landry siblings. We are introduced to Bennett’s large extended family; his mother Maria and father Senator Preston Baxter, as well as Governor Charles, and uncle Teddy Benoit, and an assortment of cousins, nieces and nephews. CRAZY RICH CAJUNS is a story of family, power and politics; a story of friendship, romance and love. The premise is engaging and entertaining; the romance is sexy and spicy; the characters are energetic and animated. CRAZY RICH CAJUNS is captivating and terrific addition to the Boys of the Bayou.

Erin Nicholas is one of those authors, and Boys of the Bayou is one of those series where just having Crazy Rich Cajuns in your possession is a distinct pleasure. But as delicious as that feeling is, it won't hold you forever ;) Crazy Rich Cajuns is definitely one of those books where on the one hand, it can't get into my eyeballs fast enough, and on the other hand, I want to prolong the experience as much as possible because I'm going to love every second and will be so sad when it's done. Crazy Rich Cajuns is the fourth in this series set in Autre in the Louisiana bayou, and is the long-awaited story featuring Kennedy Landry and Bennett Baxter. Kennedy is the "baby" at the Boys of the Bayou, with a host of older brothers and cousins and loving family to keep a watchful eye on her hijinks. And because of that loving support, Kennedy has definitely forged her own path. A former star of the pageant circuit, Kennedy sports her changing hair and permanent tattoos with aplomb, and with her smart wit and equally smart mouth, will never take anything lying down. And with all that familial support, she's the Boys of the Bayou's sole full-time employee, so she's an heiress of sorts to the swamp boat tour company her family's lovingly built with their own hands. Bennett is heir to a different sort of empire. He's all slick suits and polished business acumen, and multiple degrees from excellent institutions of higher learning. While his lawyerly self can get the better end of any legal matter, it's likely he'd easily end up alligator bait in Autre. So... what's this ridiculous chemistry that sparks between these two? Why can't they stay in their own lanes? The beauty of love and the beauty of an Erin Nicholas story is that THIS is where the magic is. Another thing about Erin Nicholas stories is the many hidden depths. Crazy Rich Cajuns is no exception. While I expected and very happily enjoyed the witty banter and the wisecracking, flirty fun, Ms Nicholas also brings it home with all the layers to Bennett and Kennedy. We readers have the pleasure of seeing them wrestle with uncovering and discovering who they believe themselves to be, who they believe each other to be, and who they are figuring out they really are. The Boys of the Bayou series is also very much about the love of family, and Crazy Rich Cajuns delivers there as well. Not everyone in the story starts off as a Kennedy fan (it's just shocking, isn't it? ;) ), but her big heart and willingness to go to the mat for those she loves? That wins her some important hearts, and I'm blinking back the tears. Ms Nicholas brings ALL the feels! One other thing I loved about Crazy Rich Cajuns is that at the core, Bennett really is kind of a nerd. Those glasses aren't just for show, and he really IS a geeky science-loving lawyer. But that passion not only wins us over, it bowls Kennedy over. And when Kennedy's gears get spinning, world? WATCH OUT. Ms Nicholas lets us see that when we pursue what wows us and drives us, we can do incredible things. We real people can have real impact in our families and lives and communities. Crazy Rich Cajuns is a feast for your heart. It satisfies like nothing else on the first read (not even a crawfish boil!) and every re-read to come.

Oil and water from the moment they met. Kennedy and Bennett have been getting under each other's skin with their amazing snarky banter. Kennedy is the headstrong daughter in the Landry clan and being attracted to a man wearing glasses and shines his shoes just doesn't make sense. Yet, every time she needs to contact Bennett, she makes every moment intensely flirtatious while giving him as much trouble as possible. Bennett loves how strong and independent Kennedy is. He is choosing a different path than his parents designed for him and meeting Kennedy is a breath of fresh air for him. Now, how can he convince her that their chemistry is long-term? Heading to Savannah to attend a party for Bennett's father finally allows these two to push beyond the flirting and just maybe, get to know what is really makes each other tick. But will this push them together or apart? That is the real mystery. I love spending time with Landry's and finally getting to know Kennedy was a true joy. Add in sexy, altruistic Bennett and well, the pages did pretty much com-bust.

GAH!!!! Crazy Rich Cajuns is the 4th book in the Boys of the Bayou series, written by the wonderful romance author, Erin Nicholas. If you want a freaking fantastic book full of banter, humor, heat, boys of the Bayou, an exasperating family of extremes, hors d’oeuvres, denial, a bit o’drama, and a cannot-put-down-this-book storyline…THIS IS IT! “If I really needed your attention, I’d start texting. Photos. Naked photos.” His entire body reacted to that. He cleared his throat. “I would definitely—“ “Of my grandfather.” The boss (kinda) and employee (kinda) relationship in this one; between the “hurricane” Landry, Kennedy, and the investor/co-owner, Bennett Baxter was so perfectly flirtatiously written! Kennedy is able to explore and expand on interests she has. Bennett is able to stand up for himself and take a route he has been wanting to take…but just needing the push. We also get a little more insight into Ellie and Leo’s relationship! “Every couple needs a Leo, right?” This book HAS everything…and IS everything! Crazy Rich Cajuns has all of the characters from the previous books in the series…including; Sawyer, Josh, Owen, Maddie, Tori, Juliet, Hilarious Ellie and Leo. The whole dynamic of this group will have you laughing and swooning so hard! This “can” be read as a standalone, but would be sooooo much better read in order of this series. This whole Bayou series should be at the top of your list! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this book!!! 5 heated stars from me!

At first glance Kennedy Landry and Bennett Baxter certainly do not seem like the perfect couple. But boy-o-boy do those two have sizzling chemistry together. As you read further into the story you learn that they match perfectly. I loved following along as their relationship progressed. It was a real surprise to me what Kennedy ended up doing as a career. I also loved that all the characters from the series also play significant roles in this book. I have really enjoyed this series. Author Erin Nicholas is a fantastic storyteller!

Finally, we get Kennedy’s story. And it was definitely worth waiting for!!! We’ve met the Landry’s of Autry, Louisiana, and watched as each of the boys fell in love with their Happily Ever After. Even the grandparents have tremendous love stories to share of their own. And the Boys of the Big Easy started our fabulous love story in the earlier series. But Kennedy has been in the background of each story, just waiting for her time. She is the only girl of the family. In order to get away from her southern “beauty pageant” past, she went a little overboard to prove her roots. She could hang with any of the guys, cook up a mess of crawfish and grits, fix the airboats motor while keeping everyone in their own place. She wasn’t prepared for Bennett Baxter. Mr. “Lawyer from an influential southern family”. Mr. “ shine my shoes daily”. Mr. “Yes my pocket square must match my tie”. What in the world would he know about the bayou? He was another toy for Kennedy to play around with. Or was he? Their innocent banter was always leading to this. The trip to Savannah was a convenient way to accomplish their goal. But when they each take time to look at one another outside of the preconceived ideas and standard fall back humor, they find that they really aren’t so different. And THAT is the Happily Ever After we really wanted for Kennedy.

I wish there were more stars to give for this absolutely fantastic book! This series is fast becoming one of my all time favorites by Erin Nicholas and that is really saying something as I have loved every one of her series so far! I laughed, I swooned, I felt so many things which is exactly why I read! I knew Kennedy's book would blow me away since I totally adore her character. She is real, unapologetic, funny, sassy and just so cool! She is my soul sister for sure as I too can eat my weight in stuffed mushrooms lol and think hors d'oeuvres are simply the best because you get to sample so many different things at once. Bennett is so sexy, nerdy and commanding and everything that is the opposite of what Kennedy thought she wanted; that is until some time away from Autre with him shows her how wrong she was about that. Turns out he is so sexy and irresistible in his glasses and shiny shoes and that there is so much more to him than she every knew! Kennedy blooms when she is with him and she shows sides of her that had been hidden beneath the good time bayou girl. I love these meddling cajuns and how they make Bennett come to a very important realization. I also love how supportive he is of Kennedy and how he really gets behind her and what she wants. She is a breath of fresh air and Bennett finds he really needs air! I love this story so much! I love the Landry's and their antics! But I really adore Kennedy and Bennett and every single thing about their journey to their HEA. Amazing epilogue and lead in to the next book! Can't wait for more!!!

6⭐️ This story went above and beyond what I could have ever imagined for Kennedy and Bennett. I’ve been looking forward to their story, and Erin Nicholas didn’t disappoint. There were twists throughout, and the chemistry between these two was off the charts. The banter between these two had me cracking up. Kennedy is such a relatable heroine. She says what’s on her mind, but does it in an acceptable way.... mostly . Bennett is perfect for her. He loves her just the way she is, and wouldn’t have her any other way. The family. Oh, how I love the Landry family. They’re wild. They’re crazy. And have the perfect amount of drama that will make you want to be a part of it. An amazing addition to the Boys Of The Bayou series that I would highly recommend!

If it is even possible, I loved this book even more than the other Boys of the Bayou book. This book has it all; family, love, emotions, an awesome hero and heroine and great supporting characters. Kennedy is a tough as they come woman. She wears her armor by way of her clothes, piercings and make-up. It's her way of putting up walls to keep people out. Kennedy runs the office for the Boys of the Bayou swamp boat tour company that her family owns. It takes her no nonsense attitude to keep the company running efficiently. Everything is great until a new part owner is brought aboard, Bennett Baxter! Bennett loves the bayou and wants it to be a bigger part of his life. When he gets the opportunity to buy a portion of the swamp boat company, he jumps at the chance. He gets along well with everyone involved, except Kennedy. But oh, how he wants to get along with her. The feeling is mutual although neither one will admit to it. Bennett and Kennedy were nothing like I thought they'd be. They were so much more! I just loved them. I couldn't have imagined half of what happened. What a great book! And, holy moly, there are some hot scenes between the two. The one at about 34%...well let's just say that I'm shocked that my tablet didn't start smoking. It wasn't raunchy or anything, it was just hot! But will the two of them be able to overcome the obstacles in their way and have a future together?

What a fabulous story for Kennedy! As the only female in a group of guys that run a bayou tour company, Kennedy more than held her own. She was fearless and had a hand in everything her family did all the while keeping the guys managed. Kennedy needed a guy that was her equal, not one that she could control or one that would control her but let her be her. Bennett was the perfect guy for her. Bennett actually saw her and not just the black clothes, fingernails, tattoo and dyed hair. He actually saw her and wanted her for her. He liked when she gave him attitude- heck it turned him on! You could feel the attraction between these two from the get go, they actually got turned on by the disagreeing and flirting they did. I enjoyed Bennett taking Kennedy back to his family’s home and seeing her open up in a different environment than what he is used to seeing her in. I loved the chemistry between Kennedy and Bennett, you could just feel the attraction these two had for each other. I have loved the Boys on the Bayou series and have enjoyed seeing them all for the person that was perfect for them. It was quite enjoyable seeing Bennett fall for Kennedy and not be scared away by her attitude or her “dark” appearance but that he actually saw her and fell in love with her. And it was great seeing Kennedy fall for a guy so unlike her- at least on the outside. These two were a fantastic couple and I loved them together. I have loved all of the books in the Boys on the Bayou series and Kennedy’s story did not disappoint.

The absolute perfect ending to this series!! You know when you fall in love with a character in a series and then wait (impatiently) for that character to get her own book and then she finally does and it's even better than you imagined? That is 100% Kennedy Landry for me. I adored the glimpses of her we got in the other books and I just knew her story would be special. Kennedy and Bennett are fantastic together, their fun, flirty banter, their oh-so-hot encounters and their sweet romantic gestures all lead up to a surprising and yet perfect happily ever after. I love this series, these characters and the Bayou. Definitely a must read!!

I couldn't decide whether to laugh my head off or cry my heart out. Nicholas makes it so hard to say goodbye. Crazy Rich Cajuns is a celebration of the best of what romance has to offer. Kennedy and Bennett make your heart sing and your day a tad brighter. With their comical banter and their tempestuous relationship, Nicholas kept me salivating all the way til the end. Parting is such sweet sorrow, but Nicholas and Co. make sure that we leave with a smile on our face.
