Kate Rebecca Leach is the talented artist behind Essoldo Design (@essoldodesign). She started making art while on furlough during the first COVID lockdown, 20 years after studying textile design at university, and has quickly amassed over 120,000 engaged Instagram followers. Watercolor has had a huge impact on my life and mental health. Some may choose meditation or yoga, but for me, the uncomplicated and freeing nature of abstract watercolor is a form of mindfulness. It allows me to switch off, unplug from the digital world, and unwind from the day-to-day pressures we all face.
