Crematorium: Ashes to Ashes:
Both snow and ash are flakes - one is a new beginning and the other an ending, they are the Alpha and Omega. Ashes indicate the end of something, and at the same time a beginning of something new. God created man from the dust, and to that, he must return. But those who are cremated and not buried, well, their souls never get a chance to return to their eternal realm -those souls find Limbo as their new home.
Tom works to find peace and redemption from his feeling of guilt the war left with him. Doing acts of kindness, helping those in need, and now working in a place to help both those that leave this world, and those that get left behind. Tom meets a ghost, Christine, and learns how Ashes to Ashes is more than a story. She convinces him that he's been Chosen to help her free those that could not move on. She's apparently working with him, but maybe on a different Journey.
As they work to transition these lost souls, Tom begins to question Christine, why some and not ALL?, how did she know which ones to release?. Tom is left frustrated and again questioning his path, unable to see the Transition these souls were experiencing he could not find comfort or relief in his actions. Is Christine really here to help, is she who she says she is? Where are these souls really being released to? Will Tom truly find Peace?
