One kinky doctor + one indecent proposal = one life-changing week in Paris

Elaine Watkins, Public Relations Advisor, is surprised when she receives a summons from the very attractive and enigmatic Dr. Xavier Vincent. She worships the talented physician and company icon responsible for developing the cure that saved her sister's life and isn't immune to his charm. Even though puzzled by his request, she is excited and eager to get started on his latest project.

But Dr. Vincent has other ideas. Instead of discussing cures, drugs and marketing strategies, he asks Elaine to join him in Paris to indulge his unique sexual appetites.

Torn between gratitude for saving her sister, her attraction for the powerful man and compromising her pre-conceived notions of sexuality, she must decide if it's easier to feed his desires or walk away. Until she devises a plan of her own.

Elaine is a public relations advisor and is excited when she receives a call to meet with Dr. Xavier Vincent, the man that saved her sister’s life, she is looking forward to starting on his new project. However, the project he has in mind is very different than she expected. This is a great read with lots of suspense and drama. The sex is steamy and the story held me captive from beginning to end. Loved it!

Elaine Watkins reveres the charming but enigmatic Dr. Xavier Vincent for discovering the cure for her sister’s cancer. When she receives a summons to join him in Paris after meeting him at a presentation she had to give for work, she is confused but intrigued. She is prepared to assist him with his work anyway she can but she doesn’t anticipate what he has really planned for her. He invites her to participate in one week of sexual adventures she has never known. Elaine doesn’t know if she should enter into this agreement, given the unusual parameters and knowing that she might not be able help developing real feelings for Dr. Vincent, but can she really say no and then always ask herself ‘what-if’? Curing Doctor Vincent was an expectedly hot but unexpectedly deep read. While more time could have been spent developing Elaine, the interactions between the characters, especially Xavier, Elaine and Marco were very well thought out. To my utter delight there was an actual plot that was added onto and developed throughout the book. Furthermore, the special settings of the events taking place and the connection of the story to history and art created a special kind of atmosphere determining the unqiue tone of the book. I especially valued that throughout all their sexual exploits, the male characters’ respect and appreciation for Elaine and women and their sexuality in general was tangible. The writing went beyond anything I’ve come to expect from erotica. Apart from a very good overall writing style, there were whole passages where philosophical and psychological implications and ideas were explored all the while managing to keep them connected to the story and making them really feel like the characters’ words and ideas. I did not expect the twist towards the end at all. It not only made for an intriguing set-up for the sequel but also enriched the whole story and raised the stakes significantly. My only problem with Curing Doctor Vincent is that I would have wished for more of an initial set-up that would have been able to connect me more with the characters and the ensuing sexual exploits. Doctor Vincent and Elaine’s first official meeting felt wobbly and the invitation to join him in Paris came too quickly for my taste. While for the two characters this made sense because they knew about each other a long time already and had developed certain feelings even before their first face-to-face meeting, I didn’t feel the deep connection the two seemed to have pretty quickly. I would have wished for a longer courting-period before Elaine actually made it to Paris, that way I might have been able to better understand the fast-developing feelings and instant intimacy between them. Overall, Curing Doctor Vincent surprised me in all the right ways while also fulfilling my expectations of it being a scorching read. ______________ I received a free copy of Curing Doctor Vincent through NetGalley.

Wow! Doctor Vincent may be messed up but he is my new book boyfriend. He has Elaine to come to Paris so she will be his lover but not in the conventional sense. His past interferes with his present. Elaine begins to do what he says but determines she will cure him. She also finds the truth. I loved Xavier and Elaine. They are intense. They are hot. I loved how Elaine is submissive in some ways but will not allow him to use his past as an excuse to keep them apart. I also liked Renea Mason's writing. I was on the edge of my seat to find out the truth and wanted them to be able to work out their problem. I cannot wait to read the rest of this trilogy.

I am finding it hard to find the words to describe how much I loved this story. It has everything I want to have when I read, mystery, hot guys, and some very erotic sex, and people that you learn to love and want to know more about. The story takes some twists and turns that you don't see coming and makes you want to keep going until you are done. I can hardly wait for the next one to come out. I could talk about the plot but there is a lovely blurb already written if you pull it up. They do a much better job than me. I would highly recommend this book.
