Grint, adopted son of the God of Thieves has been running cons across the countryside. When Eleanor, an envoy of the evil necromancer, Count Danghier, hires Grint to steal a rare artifact before the convergence of Terragard's two moons, his first instinct is to run. When she tells him it's in the Terrastags, a legendary city that's never been robbed, the challenge and prestige are too good to pass up.

What he finds is more than he bargained for. A sinister plan to unleash a new dark age using the blood of an innocent child in the artifact.
