Eleven-year-old David Busch and his family travel to Hawaii for the summer vacation of a lifetime. With his four closest friends joining him on the trip, David surprisingly meets up with his biggest idol, a pro football player named Larry Thomson from the San Diego Chargers. After receiving a personal invitation to visit Larry at his Hawaiian palace, the six boys head out for an adventure-filled afternoon.
