About the Author

David Lee Stone hails from the Commonwealth of Kentucky where his family descendants have resided since the year 1789 within the Cumberland region of Appalachia. He has been awarded the title of Honorary Kentucky Colonel from the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels for historical contributions and he has received the Freedom's Foundation Medal at Valley Forge for written works. The "Colonel" has earned multiple degrees from Saint Leo University and Colorado Christian University along with Masters Degrees. In addition to these accomplishments, he worked as an elementary school teacher for almost a decade. David comes from a family of tall taletellers starting with his great grandfather "Pop" Lay to current family members who find their greatest satisfaction comes from the smiles, laughter and amusement of audiences whenever or wherever they occur.
