## Albeit enjoying reading this book, it felt a tad rushed. It was only 110 pages on my Nook so the romance had to happen quickly. It was definitely sexy and both hero and heroine were very likeable. I just wish there was more time to build on their relationship. Another 50 pages would've been so perfect. BTW, this hero? Humina, humina.

For a 200 page book, Katie Reus sure does pack a romantic suspense punch. I appreciate the fact that this one features “older” characters, as in over 30 years old. I like the fact that these characters make no apologies, know their minds and have more life experience.  Recently retired at thirty-seven, Sawyer is an ex-Navy SEAL starting on with Red Stone Security. He carries the quiet confidence of a special ops guy and the world-weariness of a thirty+ year old working in a shadowy world. I find him infinitely appealing, just like Zoe. Zoe and Sawyer have a sizzling relationship.  I enjoy Zoe’s confidence and that fact that she knows her own mind. Zoe is an emergency room doctor being hounded by two stalkers. She is no wilting flower, but this goes beyond her capacity to deal with the situation.  Katie Reus ramps up the tension by having Zoe deal the feeling of terror and hopelessness as a stalker victim. Furthermore, Zoe’s stalker is someone who is well-respected and a master manipulator. Chilling.  IN A NUTSHELL: Although this is the 10th book in the series, Katie Reus manages to keep it as fresh and suspenseful as the first.

Dr. Zoe Hansen had the perfect job as a hospital surgeon but it all fell apart when a male doctor began harassing her at work until it escalated in an attack. Zoe leaves the hospital and takes another job while her attacker gets off free and leaves the country. Zoe is finally starting to feel normal again when her attacker shows back up. Before he can be a problem he's killed and it's clear someone is trying to frame Zoe. Katie Reus keeps up the action in Deadly Fallout but I did think it was a bit out there for a stalker to have a stalker. That's certainly something I haven't seen before! Ex-Navy SEAL, Sawyer McCabe has recently been hired at Red Stone Security and he's instantly attracted to Zoe but their one interaction, years ago, involved a fight between Sawyer and Zoe's brother back on the Teams. This creates some initial tension between them but it's quickly resolved as Zoe and Sawyer let their chemistry take over. This felt shorter than prior Red Stone books and the relationship was a little rushed. Part of this comes from the interjection of other POVs for the stalker as well as Detective Durante who takes up page time. I would have preferred to see more time between Sawyer and Zoe. That being said, I did really like the characters. Zoe has been through a lot and she's been shouldering it almost completely on her own. She's a very independent woman who doesn't want to look vulnerable and weak so it's hard for her to lean on Sawyer for help. As Zoe spends more time around Sawyer she realizes that having someone to depend on can make life a lot easier and happier. Zoe and Sawyer fall in love quickly and their chemistry is instant. Overall, a good read but not my favorite in the series.

4 - "I'm not walking away from this thing between us..." Stars! I am a huge fan of the Red Stone Security series, these are books you can read in any order and all of them offer a great few hours of reading pleasure. Zoe and Sawyers story definitely ticked those boxes. Having dealt with a stalker situation over the last couple of years, Zoe was just getting used to living her life again, only problem being the man in question has returned to the country after six months working abroad and is intent on making her life difficult again. One altercation in the car-park at her place of work confirms that he isn’t planning on leaving her alone… Sawyer McCabe, newly recruited to Red Stone happens to be in the right place at the right time, and having known Zoe in the past, immediately steps up to stand guard, so to speak. He just wanted to claim this woman, to taste every inch of her and then start all over again. It doesn’t take long for the sparks to fly between them, and the suspects to start lining up behind them when the body of said stalker turns up in a bit of a mess and minus a pulse, and the author as expected kept me on my toes in trying to work out who it was. "I want you to remember the feel of me inside you even when I’m not with you." Quick, sexy and with plenty of action, Deadly Fallout is a book I would happily read again. ARC generously provided, in exchange for the above honest review.

J: This is a pretty good story but very basic. Definitely a short story with suspense but not much depth. It kept you guessing at first but there really wasn't very many possibilities.

I highly recommend DEADLY FALLOUT to anyone who enjoys sexy, fast paced, action-packed romantic suspense.  Sure, he was insanely sexy, something she was finding impossible to ignore tonight. He had on dark slacks and a dark green sweater that made his piercing eyes pop even more against his tanned skin. The sweater sleeves were pushed up his forearms, showcasing muscles she wanted to trace with her fingers and lips. Looks aside, the man clearly had an honorable streak - and that was the sexiest thing of all. DEADLY FALLOUT by Katie Reus is thrilling romantic suspense at its best! It's the tenth book in Katie's Red Stone Security series. Each installment features an alpha hero who will stop at nothing to protect and keep safe a damsel in distress. I'm still catching up with the series - but, each of the Red Stone Security books I've read, has been fantastic and fully enjoyable as a standalone even though there are interconnected characters and a common theme . DEADLY FALLOUT tells the story of Zoe, Vincent's sister, and Sawyer McCabe, a Red Stone Security employee. We were treated to Vincent's story in PROTECTNG HIS WITNESS, the seventh book in this addictive series.  I wanted to first spotlight Katie's DEADLY FALLOUT book dedication honoring both the success of this series and the support of her readers: "Ten books in and the Red Stone Security series is still going strong because of you, my wonderful readers. Thank you." I can attest that, even though this is the tenth book in the series, each story is fresh, unique and teeming with romantic suspense that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Katie has a way with words. She knows how to capture a reader and get you sucked into the story. Katie makes it feel like you are right there in the story. When Zoe, a doctor, turns to a friend for help she runs into Sawyer. The last time she saw him was when he punched her brother. Sawyer, works for Red Stone Security, was starting down a new road in his life. When he finds out about Zoe's problem, he steps in to help. Right from the start the chemistry is mixing between the two. They need to work around or with this chemistry to fix Zoe's problem. I really enjoy reading this series and I cannot wait to read more. Katie keeps it entertaining.

Score 10 for the Red Stone series!!  How she does it I have no idea but Reus always manages to grapple me from the get go. A hospital is by the way one of my least favorite places to be at night because of the same particular reason Zoe, our heroine, happens to find herself in, and gosh, did that first scene creeped me out!  Ok, back to Zoe. She’s Vincent’s sister and Blue and Mina’s old time friend. We know them all from past books so we kind of have a general idea of how they all fit in her story. But don’t worry, this can also be read as a standalone and still be an awesome and enjoyable read.  The twist of the story was my favorite part because I thought it was going to be one thing and turns out that not only Zoe has a stalker but all of a sudden she's framed for murder. What? The interactions between Zoe and her family are so endearing, specially when younger Vincent tries to act so protective of her.  Sawyer McCabe is the new addition to Red Stone Security Team and knows Blue, Vincent, and remembers Zoe but is afraid she may not remember him, however wastes no time to become her bodyguard as soon as he learns what she's going through. The interaction between the two is fast and they don't hold back in their attraction for each other. Perhaps it was because Zoe was so vulnerable and yes, happy, that her stalker was dead, that she pretty much got down to business with Sawyer. Not much build up or tension but there was enough chemistry between the two for the romance part to make sense and for me to keep me turning the pages till the end. The end itself was not much to my liking, or rather how her problem was solved. It felt like after all she'd gone through she went back to her normal self too quickly, as if nothing had happened. I mean, I get that she now has this 6+ ft lovely, caring man that cares for her but still, it felt a little too rushed for me. That however did not demerit the suspense and the overall awesomeness of the story. I highly recommend it to any fan of romantic suspense.  *I received a copy of this story in exchange of an honest review*

I LOVE this series!! I love the Red Stone Security series! Deadly Fallout is the tenth book in this series, and I think this one is just as good if not better than the others. Dr. Zoe Hansen was forced to leave her hospital because another doctor was stalking her. She finds a new job and new house and is terrified when the stalker appears at her new job. She goes to her friend who works for Red Stone Security to see what she can do for protection. The next morning her stalker is found murdered and she is the only suspect. Former Navy Seal Sawyer McCabe offers to protect Zoe because he has been attracted to her since he met her. He needs to convince Zoe that he can keep her safe and that he wants a future with her. This book has it all romance, mystery, and suspense. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.  A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

I absolutely loved this book!!! Zoe, a victim of stalking from a crazy man, is a strong yet vulnerable woman and she never stopped fighting regardless of what was thrown at her!! Sawyer...oh Sawyer...I want someone just like him! Sawyer is a strong and deadly force that will do whatever it takes to protect Zoe. The chemistry between these two is combustible and I found myself smiling as they fell in love! This book is full of romance, intrigue, suspense, and action! Definitely worth a read!!!!!

Plot twists and turns with good suspense. Deadly Fallout is Book 10 in the Red Stone Security Series – great suspense and action in this continuing book series by Katie Reus. This book can be read as a stand-alone. You don’t have to read the other books in the series to enjoy it. Dr. Zoe Hansen (Vincent’s (Protecting His Witness) sister) has a stalker. Her stalker is a married doctor that she used to work with. She thinks he is gone from her life but he unexpectedly shows back up – thinking that he can pick up where he left off. When the stalker/doctor is brutally murdered – Zoe is fingered for the crime but is able to clear her name. Zoe is still in danger from the unknown killer. Sawyer makes it his personal mission to keep Zoe safe. Zoe is not sure whether she wants his protection – Sawyer and her brother Vincent have a history – not a good one. Sawyer has to overcome Zoe’s mistrust and doubt of his willingness to help her. With the killer still on the loose and a target on Zoe’s back will Sawyer be able to keep her safe? The action and suspense in this latest Red Stone installment were great. The story has some plot twists that you won’t really see coming. Overall a good, suspenseful read.

How did I miss this series until now? Where have I been? It's great that, even though this is part of a series, you can read it alone. Fantastic read-suspenseful(I had no clue who it was), an Alpha hero by the cool name of Sawyer, and Zoe, who is a doctor who is being stalked but is then accused of killing her stalker. I will certainly be reading the other stories in the series and place the author on my must read list.

I love this series! Deadly Fallout is the 10th book in Katie Reus's Red Stone Security series. I think this is my favorite book in the series so far. I love Sawyer. He is the perfect male in my opinion. Strong, protective, sexy. He and Zoe are wonderful together. I also love the twist on the stalker portion of the book. You start out thinking the book is going to go in one direction, but then it takes a completely different turn.  This book has just the right amount of romance, hot sensual scenes and suspense. It catches your attention from the very beginning and keeps you guessing. Katie has done it again!

Zoe Hansen has a stalker. One of her fellow surgeons is the culprit. She leaves her job at the hospital and he leaves town. Now he's back and the danger ramps up. He's murdered and now someone is after her. Who? I enjoy strong female characters and Zoe is that. She stands up for herself and for what she believes in, but isn't too proud to take help when it's needed. Enter Sawyer McCabe, the newest employee of Red Stone Security, and her self-appointed body guard. He cares for Zoe and wants to be there for her. The heated sexual attraction between them is off the charts. Danger brings them together and their personal connection binds them. I loved their passionate romance and wanted them to take a chance on a future together. It's always a treat catching up with characters from previous Red Stone Security books. I like the continuity. Katie Reus gives us a well-plotted story which is filled with passion, suspense and danger. I'm hooked and proud of it. I read Deadly Fallout in one day and I can't wait for more alpha males and feisty heroines.
