About the Author

Chris Rogers was born in Texas and raised in the days before self-appointed moralists banned EC Comics and when "B" horror flicks could still chill you down to your funny bones. She resides in a small community within easy commute of the four major Texas metropolises, where she writes novels, short stories and shameless self-promotion materials.

Chris has taught writing as an adjunct at Rice University School of Continuing Studies, the University of Houston, regional and national seminars and in private master classes. Many of her students are published and have received numerous awards and acknowledgments.

After a career in graphic design, Chris became a writer the easy way: She read voraciously and filled blank pages with drivel until her fingers cramped and her brain defected. Eventually, she learned to craft a decipherable sentence.
