As someone who generally enjoys reading fiction/murder mysteries, I was looking forward to reading Jillian's nonfiction book Deep Listening! Jillian has been one of my favorite yoga teachers for over 15 years and when I last reconnected with her it was as a student through her Restorative and Therapeutic yoga workshops. This was an amazing experience and Deep Listening is a continuation of this experience. This book is an excellent companion to my studies and helps guide me further into my practice as well as helping my students. I especially appreciated the way it seamlessly flowed from one chapter to the next, sharing her life stories to connect to the next learning, step by step, guiding you deeper into the practice of relaxation. Anyone can do it- Jillian's authentic, caring, and gracious way of expressing herself makes it easy to come along for the ride. Highly recommend it!
