Go to Romania and learn more about fighting demons. It will be fun, they said.

A couple of months after Julie's friend released over 125 demons into the world, Father Dooley sends her to Romania to get a little more training. Nothing too unusual about that.

Why is it the people with the information aren't very good at giving said information to those that could use it? Like, demons aren't the only evil monsters walking the face of the Earth and you just might run into some of them.

Julie finds out the hard way that her demon fighting skills don't mean squat when it comes to dealing with monsters of a more ancient nature. Monsters with long, sharp fangs and a taste for human blood.

All she knows is she and the padre are going to have a little talk when she gets home.

Watch for this sequel to SHATTERED PRISONS and see how Julie Markoff is handling being one of the newest demon hunters in a world turned upside down.

About the Author

D Glenn Casey found himself addicted to fantasy novels in his teenaged years. He’d haunt the local dusty
bookstores in search of his next vacation from the mundane and even had to pick up a job to support his
love of literature. He’s always been fascinated by world building and complex characters so interesting one
would want to carry on a conversation with them. While he loves writing, he also hopes to inspire other
readers to fall in love with books all over again.

D Glenn Casey is also an artist with a love of pencils and paintbrushes. He’s inspired by life and rife with
curiosity. When he’s not writing, we can find him painting, reading anything he can get his hands on, and
brainstorming his next book idea. Currently, he’s in the process of creating a new genre of horror that
focuses on scares without gore and gratuitous buckets of blood. One day, he hopes to release books to
swarms of rabid fans that can’t wait for his next book.
