Desperate Times
Upon the free continent of Periand, the scattered factions of Men fight between themselves, each determined to destroy the others. As war sweeps across nations, the Elves look to their own borders, and the Dwarves fortify their mountain strongholds, but nowhere is beyond the reach of Moragil's desire for dominion. For power. Deep in the bowels of the mountains, an ancient amulet has lain forgotten for centuries. With the power to draw upon demonic magic, it must not fall into the grasp of the Faceless Lord's servants. Against all odds, the amulet is brought to the Elven city of Pathosien, but even here it cannot be kept safe from the spies of Moragil. It must be destroyed, to deny the destructive power to be wrought upon the free lands, and Men, Elves and Dwarves must prepare to face an evil they should never have allowed to fall into legend. Charged with ensuring the amulet's fate, can the Elven warrior who defied Moragil's predecessor, now find champions to aid in this task? Or are the nations too corrupt and too divided by hatred, to undertake so vital a duty? The fate of Periand hangs in the balance, for if they fail then all shall burn in a demon's wrath.
