Overview

They loved a good horror movie, that is until an outbreak caused them to live in one of their own.

Things like this didn't happen in real life, or so Ivy thought. Her life may not have been alluring but at least she had a safe place to live. Fresh water to drink and food to eat. Now all of those things were gone.

Ivy, along with her best friend, Emma, must learn to adapt, no matter the cost.

Discovering other survivors during their journey, Ivy has learned that not everything is as it seems. Sometimes what you feared the most, isn't your biggest threat.

About the Author

J. Truesdell lives in the wilds of upstate New York, where she professionally fights trash stealing bears in the summertime and battles her way through 10ft snowdrifts in the winter. She spends most of her time taking care of her family which consists of two cats, two dogs, one husband, two kids, and a Hellhound named Bob. Before you ask, yes, she is an animal lover which explains her full house but NO she is not looking to add. The house is too crowded as it is. At least that is what she says until she stumbles across the next stray.

When she is not busy fighting the elements, hungry bears or taking care of her family, she enjoys falling into the pages of a good book or is in front of her laptop where she hopes to create the next greatest American novel. No, not really, usually she is just trying to write down all those crazy ideas her brain manages to come up with.
