About the Author

Aleshia Chappel is a single mother of three children, two boys and a little girl. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY; 2010 she moved to Sumter, SC. Attending Grace Cathedral Ministries Church. She also secured a position with Mary Kay as an Independent Beauty Consultant. She graduated from James Madison University earning a Paralegal Assistant Certification. Before becoming a fulltime mom, she was a professional model in New York City. She loves to help people anyway that she can. Currently, she is in pursuit of starting a nonprofit organization targeting single parents and it will be called Empower Me. Empower Me will be the strong support system single parent’s need in society today.
