Originally published in 1900 as part of the Pitt Press Series, this book contains the German text of Gustav Freytag's comedy of life in a newspaper editorial office, Die Journalisten. The play is prefaced with a biography of Freytag, and H. W. Eve supplies an appendix of detailed notes on the text.
