This book of poems shares my inner most thoughts and feelings about love, relationships, family, illness, betrayal, and happiness. I wrote this book for those who are either in my shoes, or have been there and have moved on. Everyone seems to face some type of challenge in their lives whether it's good or bad. What's important is how you handle those challenges, to overcome your fears and adversities. We look back, we look up, and we move on.

About the Author

Demitryce Zapata (Author), was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1974. As a teen, she and her brother moved to Cleveland, Ohio, to live with her grandmother until their mother followed the following year. Demitryce is a new author, loves to read and do lots of research, and has taken an interest in writing and publishing her own books within the past year. She is educated and finishing a degree, and she is the mother of five beautiful children. Four boys and one girl.
