The book tells a story of this Chinese girl goes with her family to have dim sum in a restaurant. They pick out their favorite dim sum from a steaming trolley. The book has a good touch of food culture in China. The sharing of every dish makes everyone be able try a bit of everything. The title ties tightly with the idea of sharing. It is a good book to see diversity and learn about other culture. Illustrations in the book give a clear presentation of the various dim sum being mentioned. Highly recommend this book to preschoolers and kindergarteners.

I love dim sum, and I was happy to finally find a children's book on the subject. This is a great introduction to dim sum for both children and adults--you could even bring this book with you to a restaurant and use it as a guide for which dishes to choose!
