Ruth Thomson is an award-winning author of history and art books with dozens of titles to her credit, including Terezín: Voices from the Holocaust. Her art books include biographies of Vincent van Gogh and Georgia O'Keeffe. She has also written a number of instructional and activity books for children. A triceratops tells of his adventures as he wanders away from his herd and must fight a tyrannosaurus. Clear photos of small dinosaur models mixed with color drawings give the appearance of an informational text. A "Picture word list" is included.
