Do You Get My Point?

This is a Twentieth Anniversary book and Expose' of the 1989 Exxon Valdez oil spill clean-up in Prince William Sound, Alaska, as "witnessed" and written by Commercial Fisherman and now Author, David L. Spruill. The book is written as a deposition for the Alaska Commercial Fishermen who have endured a twenty year long struggle, in hope that liberty and justice will be served to the well deserving litigants.

I was one of the Alaska Commercial Fishermen contracted by VECO Corporation to recover Exxon's negligently spilled oil. What I learned in the clean-up project was that corporations can get away with and cover up their dirty deeds by sweeping them under the carpet (or ocean in this case), while politicians and the news media aids them. Exxon made money off of this horrific tragedy while the people that had this huge mess spilled into their work place and home have endured loss of livelihood, illness and death. Isn't that par for the course in this country with these big corporations and the Federal Government?

The insanity of this case that has transpired over two decades is a mirror image of what is happening in the United States today, led in the wrong direction by spineless, corrupt, greedy, career criminal Politicians and Corporations and driven by corruption and greed with absolutely no regard for human life.

The 1989 Exxon Valdez oil spill is the largest environmental disaster in the history of the United States of America. I think that it is important to remember that these same people who ran the Exxon Valdez aground are the ones who are currently running our country into the ground. Why should all of these beautiful families continue to suffer, while thesecorporations and bureaucrats are having world record profits? I know that together, we can put a stop to this insanity! The future of our children depends on us!
