A Dom/sub relationship doesn't just happen. It is a finely crafted and designed system of expectations and joys. In order for you and your submissive lady to "fit" one another and create a lasting, happy union there must be a period of training.

It does not matter if your sub has thirty years of experience in submission or just read 50 Shades of Grey and decided to try it herself. She will need to be trained for the best relationship to emerge.

"Dom's Guide to Submissive Training" was specifically written for doms/masters. It is designed to provide you with a step-by-step blueprint on how to train your new sub. It goes from preparation all the way down to the closing ceremony including advanced techniques & tips.

Training can be one of the most exciting, challenging and fun parts of the relationship. A well-trained sub will not only serve you in the capacity you deserve, but will have built up the two most important elements in any BDSM relationship – trust and consistency. Following the instructions in this guide will allow you to show yourself as a worthy master, who is in control, experienced and able to guide you both to the best possible life.

I thought BDSM was where you tie up your partner and spank them. But after reading this I discovered I was wrong. There is much more to it than spanking. I also liked how the book reminded the master/man, in the relationship to remember to love his slave/woman. It reminded him that he needed to give emotional attention to her and to be sweet to her. In whole I enjoyed this book, I found it arousing

I am so glad that I took the time to read this book before I began my journey into the BDSM world. I learned so many great things from it. The book is set up to make sure you get the most from it and gives clear and descriptive instructions on how to make the relationship work the best it can. Simple little things that I would not have thought of are explained with their uses and benefits very well illustrated. I would not have thought to have a contract or two different collars with one for training and one for the actual relationship. The book covers every part of training necessary to ensure that your relationship is successful. I really enjoyed how well the need for trust and education was explained.

As other reviewers have mentioned this book does focus on male doms and female subs but it can be useful for any Dom looking to train a new sub. All dom/sub pairs are different and this book provides some great tips for Doms to get to know their new sub as well as techniques to start the training process. A lot of the information in this book is geared towards new Doms but long time Doms can benefit from this book as well, especially if they have not had a new sub for a while.

I am an avid reader of all things that are BDSM and kink, so I jumped at the chance to read this book. I was really happy to see a great deal of focus on informed consent and a focus on aftercare. While this book assumes that the reader is a male Dom, the lessons can be used by anyone who wants to be a Dom.

This book was rather informative and written well. It goes through the different stages from start to end and its suggestions are very nicely done. Also, I like the focus of the female being submissive. Furthermore, there is a great emphasis on learning which is definitely helpful for those starting out in the BDSM field and those with new masters or subs. It is adaptable for all levels. As a whole, I rather enjoyed it.

I am so impressed by this book. I have read many books in this arena, and this is one of the best I have read. It really covers the Dom sub relationship in great detail. It shares types of collars. It goes into the designing of the opening ritual between a Dom and the sub. It covers the various types of spankings. It gives information on oral service, anal service, chastity, orgasm and intercourse denial. The book is written for the male Dom, female submissive relationship, but it can easily be interpreted in the female Mistress male sub relationship. I would recommend this book certainly to a novice in this area, but I think a seasoned Dom or mistress could pick up some tips as well.

The book has everything to prepare you for a BDSM relationship. It discusses steps you can follow in preparing your sub for a more fun sexual relationship. It talks about protocols which guides you with the rules on speech, clothing, attitude, etc. It is a good read book. Very informative and thorough. I didn't feel like I wasted a minute reading it. It's not like reading something and just scrolling through the pages finding for something that makes sense. It's fun to read and I definitely learn a lot
