About the Author

Don't Beg for Mercy! is Robert Ginsberg'sfi rst novel - length work of fiction. Multitalented and widely travelled, Robert has had a lifelong love of science, medicine and music. He studied Medical Sciences at Sheffield University and after qualifying, aquired a Senior Science Research post at the Royal London Hospital Medical College. Shortly afterwards, he was awarded an honorary Fellowship of the Royal Microscopical Society for his contributions to Medical Technology.

After several years travelling and working abroad (Australia, India and Italy), Robert returned to London and joined Encyclopedia Britannica International Ltd. as a Library Researcher covering Science, Technology and Medicine, during which time, he developed his writing skills.

Over the years, Robert's passtimes have included freelance photo - journalism, sports-car and motorcycle/side-car racing (Australia), jazz piano (London and Rome), short story writing, musical composition, karate, and a lifelong supporter of animal welfare groups.

In 1993 he took early retirement from medical research, to concentrate on writing and music. He is married, with two adult daughters.
